Sony NWZ-W252 Walkman

The new Sony NWZ-W252 Walkman is exactly what you need for active training.  Since everything is contained in the headphones, you don’t need to worry about a headphone cord getting caught on gym equipment.  It’s not a pretty site when a headphone cord snags while pumping your arms hardcore on the elliptical machine.  For those of you that love training outdoors rain or shine, the new Walkman is also water resistant.  I just wish it came in the classic Sony Sports yellow.  Retail $59.95

“Use the included USB cable to get up to 90 minute charge in just 3 minutes. With an impressive total battery life of up to 11 hours, the W252 is ready when you are.”

iPad Car Audio Install

The idea of installing an iPad in your dashboard was on every car enthusiasts mind.  Music, videos, GPS, online access, and pretty everything else you would need on a large touchscreen.  The guys at Soundman Car Audio (Santa Clarita, CA) actually made it happen in a Toyota Tacoma.  Pure awesomeness!

Desk Phone Dock

Talk about taking a step backwards.  The Desk Phone Dock turns your wireless iPhone into a corded desk phone.  Brilliant!  This is not a rinky dink “As Seen On TV” device.  The base is constructed of processed aluminum with coated plastic for the handset.  Charge, sync, speakerphone, stereo speakers, volume knob, and push button mute all-in-one.  Retail $TBD

“Desk Phone Dock will have its premiere at the China Sourcing Fair in Hong Kong.  For business contacts and/or meetings at the show, please email us at contact@keeutility.com.”

Toktumi Line2 for iPhone

Very cool app if you like having separate phone numbers for business and personal.  The coolest feature is that you can place outbound calls by either cell or Wifi.  So if you’re in a crappy AT&T service area but have a 3G/Wifi signal you’re all good.  Line2 also has the ability to host conference calls with up to 20 people and it supports visual voicemail.  It’s a very robust application for power iPhone users or if you’re really popular.  I still can’t believe this app got approved.  Retail $14.95/month

BlueAnt T1 Rugged Bluetooth

According to Australian company BlueAnt, the T1 is the best anti-wind noise headset ever built.  It also is the first Bluetooth headset to offer caller name announcement.  You can accept or reject the call by either saying “Answer” or “Ignore”, respectively.  “The T1 also offers A2DP for streaming audio of podcasts and turn-by-turn directions from GPS applications on your mobile phone.”  If you are constantly on-the-go outdoors or drive a Ferrari California, this headset should fit the bill.  Talk time 6 hours, standby 120 hours.  Retail $79.99 (available May 2010)
