Getting from point A to B can easily be achieved by various means of transportation, especially when the terrain is flat.  Toss in some calf bulging ascents, rock gardens, and sketchy close-to-edge single tracks than you have choose your method wisely.  Santa Cruz Bicycles recently introduced two new bikes make going from bottom to top or top to bottom much more fun.  The Nickel is a 5″ all-around mountain tamer that is pedal friendly.  While the Butcher is a 6″ travel downhill slayer that can go uphill too if you have the legs.  Just watch the promo video and enjoy, one of the best we’ve seen recently.  Retail $1,350 (frame only)
