Desk Phone Dock

Talk about taking a step backwards.  The Desk Phone Dock turns your wireless iPhone into a corded desk phone.  Brilliant!  This is not a rinky dink "As Seen On TV" device.  The base is constructed of processed aluminum with coated plastic for the handset.  Charge, sync, speakerphone, stereo speakers, volume knob, and push button mute all-in-one.  Retail $TBD

"Desk Phone Dock will have its premiere at the China Sourcing Fair in Hong Kong.  For business contacts and/or meetings at the show, please email us at contact@keeutility.com."

McLaren MP4-12C Configurator

McLaren is synonymous with the word "supercar" and their new online configurator for the MP4-12C is a great way to waste time at work.  The new supercar is a straight up beast powered by a twin-turbo 3.8L V8 engine capable of 600 horsepower.  All body panels are carbon fiber, thanks to F1 racing technology, making it lighter than the Lamborghini LP560-4.  It's also capable of 0-60 in the low 3s and top speed over 200 mph.  While it's not the bargain the new Porsche 911 Turbo is, you'll be in exclusive company since only 1,000  vehicles will be made worldwide in 2011.  Expect to drop at least $350,000

Wetshave with Merkur

Double-edged safety razors have a nice weight and balance too them. Holding one in your hand feels so much better than those multi-bladed plastic things, and the single blade does just as well in making your face baby butt smooth. The replacement blades are a lot cheaper too. Just remember that there's a very good reason why it's called double-edged. I forgot for 5 seconds once and was quickly reminded by that wonderfully sharp blade.

The Merkur #33C  safety razor, shown above, is a great piece for those new to shaving with these beasts. Sells for $31.50 at Amazon.com

Outlier Leather Braided Keychain

It depends on your sense style and professional line of work, because you can't rock this with a suit unfortunately.  The Outlier keychain is made of braided leather with a sailing grade Harken-5 shackle.  It's an ideal keychain if you like to keep keys on your belt instead of in your pocket.  Consider it a less bulky carabiner alternative for lightweight items.  Retail $57

The North Face Mercu Paclite

This could very well be the best emergency packable jacket currently avaialbe.  As part of The North Face's Summit Series, the Mercu features a Gore-Tex Paclite exterior.  Paclite is the best mix of a lightweight fabric and trail worthy waterproofing.  I love the napoleon chest pockets.  They're perfect for keeping my Peanut Butter Chewy Granola Bars within reach in case of a snack attack.  Retail $229 (available in four different colors and women's version)

2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0

Back in November '09, we posted about the performance value of the 2011 Ford Mustang V6.  Now the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT V8 will be a legitimate contender in the horsepower war with the Camaro SS and Challenger SRT8 .  The 5.0 engine is back!  426 horsepower, 0-60 in the mid 4's, 14" Brembo brakes, and 26 mpg highway rating.

"Speaking of Audi, the 5.0 makes the 354-hp S5 look like an overpriced slowpoke. We've driven both cars in anger and the 2011 Mustang GT is not only faster, but is actually rear-wheel drive, not a FWD platform fitted with Quattro all-wheel drive." - Autoblog.com

Toktumi Line2 for iPhone

Very cool app if you like having separate phone numbers for business and personal.  The coolest feature is that you can place outbound calls by either cell or Wifi.  So if you're in a crappy AT&T service area but have a 3G/Wifi signal you're all good.  Line2 also has the ability to host conference calls with up to 20 people and it supports visual voicemail.  It's a very robust application for power iPhone users or if you're really popular.  I still can't believe this app got approved.  Retail $14.95/month
